    Blues & Twos

Can you think of an episode where we see Coopers police car with it's blue lights flashing and it's sirens sounding? I can only think of 2 but I'm sure there will be more?????

    Interesting Retro Comedy YT Channel

Found this great channel on YT, it has loads of rare bygone TV series. Even saw one with a young Stephanie Cole in. Not sure if you're aware of this @theatrically_inclined but a few of the series mentioned in your vids appear on here. https://youtube.com/@forgotten-british-tv?si=pJTlocTO8mkflJwu

    Sloppy Bar Keeping

Have you noticed that whenever the men are on a drinking session the empty glasses just pile up on the table. You would expect the table to be cleared periodically as usually happens in bars, but there must be an abundance of glasses in Summerwine Land! This happens throughout the series, for...

    New Summerwine Podcast

I've listened to a few of these guys' podcasts, glad to see they're doing one on Summer Wine. Here's the link, @Marianna I've checked the podcast and this one does have a transcript. I heartily recommend this podcast, they're indifferent to Last Of The Summer Wine which makes for a very...

    Was Entwistle Needed?

I’ve recently been watching the later series of our much-beloved sitcom (as they're the only episodes I seem to watch!!) and find myself slightly unsure what value Electrical Entwistles character actually adds. While I appreciate he was perhaps intended as a natural successor to Clegg to help...

    For Train Fans...

This wonderful initiative is being trialed near to me on the Severn Valley Railway, whereby they are exploring the viability of using heritage railway trains as commuter trains. I just love the presenters love and passion and I think it would be wonderful if this worked. In this depressing...

    A Repeat Question

I'm not subscribed to UK Gold or whatever it's called today, but I was wondering whether they're still looping LOTSW from start to finish? And if so does anyone know how long for? I love watching the continual loop of Heartbeat on ITV3 and I reckon I'm watching it through for the 10th time :01:

    Our Billy.....

Booked a last minute trip to the Isle Of Man a couple of days ago, I found a familiar face on my walk this morning :D I can see why he made this wonderful Island his home for the last 30 years of his life, it's like going back several decades in the UK. And for that very reason I intend to...

    Bill Oddie

So sad to read about the death of Bill Oddie today, really funny member of The Goodies. And as Alan Partridge said of him a dedicated birdaholic!

    Who need's AI generated video??

In the days we're being bombarded with AI Slop, I found this heartwarming video. An animation painstakingly made using wool, frame by frame just like the effort in the Wallace & Grommit animations. You can't help but smile when you see this lovely short video and think the work gone into...

    Best Actors

The series had some amazing talent during it's long run. But if you had to choose the 3 very best actors in terms of bringing their character to life and making them authentic and believable who would they be? I'm guessing not many would nominate Tom or Babs in this list :D It's a tough...
