After 11 years

Apparently you can get kettles that hook up to wifi! What I want to know is will it be a health kick device and refuse to sugar the tea?

Sounds like it's on the bum. With wifi, etc they should send someone along to set these things up in my opinion..

I don't see the point. If you have to load it yourself then it would be quicker to switch it on rather than going to an app or asking Alexa.

I’m guessing it’s more useful for those who want to use different cycles they select regularly or perhaps programme it to coincide with lower energy costs if they’re on an Economy 7 tariff. But I do agree, it’s pointless if you use your dishwasher like me, simply on or off!

My washing machine, which was new about four years ago, has some downloadable cycles that you can do from an app and if there is a fault you can put your smartphone next to the machine and it will sent information to a service centre. I don't have a smartphone though so it's just a normal washing machine to me.
