After 30+ years....

......of playing Golf, my Dad just rang me from by the side of the Thirteenth tee at Lilleshall Hall Golf Club to tell me that he has just had a Hole in One at the par 3 Twelfth!
I'm made up for him, he sounded dead pleased.
I just thought I would share this with the forum.
I told him to keep the ball and get it signed by the fellas he was playing with.
 
That's brilliant Rob,what a great feeling that must be.
He obviously hasn't got a kink in his niblick :)

I think he ight have mate, that's why it's taken him nearly 35 years!
Cor yeah, imagine the feeling though. He must have been stood on the Tee, hit the shot and his mates saying "Good shot, thats going close" and then, and then, and then "Its going in, is it in? Has it gone in? That looks like its in to me" and then getting there to find it has, have people shake your hand and the joy of picking the ball out of the hole.
I bet he was absolutely chuffed. He's a good fella is my Dad, the kind of fella who do anybody a good turn long before he did them a bad one. I'm really pleased for him.
