Apologies for a slightly longer post but I've seen quite a few instances in LOTSW where props turn up all too conveniently and don't always make sense. For example in The Sweet Smell of Excess when they are pushing Compo up the hill entangled in the bed, he refuses to walk any further so in the next scene he's conveniently wearing a perfectly fitting pair of roller boots! As it's just around a corner on the road it doesn't make sense how these appear or where they've come from.
Having read excerpts from Harold Snoads book where he clashed with Roy Clarke around some of the scenes in KUA, this seems to be a common theme for disputes where Harold had to alter dialogue to explain things turning up in scenes, ie why Hyacinth happened to have 2 police cones to block off the road outside her house.
Not sure if it matters or not? and the prop problem was pretty much solved when anything and everything could be obtained from Aunties. But is there any other examples props turning up unexplained in other episodes?
