Another Bank Holiday. What are your plans for the day? I plan to head for the wide open spaces but once I do reach the front door I might change my mind:). I could make use of my walking aid and take a short walk down the street. The snag with that idea is that my walking aid might want to stay indoors and help me count my money:42:. Her eyes go all funny when she sees a ten-pound note.o_O
Enjoy your day whatever you do.
Peri.

Going to look for some live music normally have a band on somewhere if not then it will have to be the normal piped drivel some of these bars play for which you have no need to use Shazam to find out who it is .

We've been at a VW show in Tattenhall since Friday. Managed to escape the noise for a wander through the fields yesterday.

Why did you fall on the floor? Were you a bit Brahms? Mind you one press up is good. I'm so frail these days that I couldn't manage a press down.

Has anybody been to the seaside today? I used to like the 100-mile drive to take the kids to the coast. It was a waste of time though, they always found their way back home.:oops::oops:

I've been to the seaside today but its only a 20 minute walk from my house. Bank Holidays attract a lot of tourists so it was very busy down at the beach.

I took a trip to my local beaches yesterday mainly to get wet on the inside with a few sherberts but I walked along and took a few snaps . Not many on the beach , this is a lovely little cove called Cullercoats has a great history lots of tales of smugglers from years gone by. The second is a rather sad site , there was a Lido at Tynemouth which I regularly went to as a child and I remember it as a great day out .

If you forgot your cossy you could hire one from them blue wooly trunks which expanded several fold as soon as you jumped in . It was a salt water pool and they used to have a huge blackboard on which they would post the temperature of the pool . In summer they often posted figures of 26C all the kids including me would jump in then the attendant would come along and rub out the 2 revealing the true temperature supported by the wails of the kids including me as the shock of freezing water hit home , happy days just so sad to see it like it is now apparently they have been trying to fund a revamp all sorts of plans made designs and artists impressions over the last two years but its as far away from those as it can be .:(
