Another Chance to tell those dimwit's at the BBC how you Feel

Doesnt Mark Freeland have any say in the matter? Reading that he sounds as though he doesnt want it to end?

I knew about this lunch before. I have heard it was pretty grim and strange, not really fun, but what would you expect under these circumstances?
And what do you expect from the BBC? They axe it and at the same time they say how sad this is, it´s all - what do you call that, flannel? It´s all wischiwaschi Gelaber. Sorry, can´t find fitting words in English ;). My only comfort is that Peter says he has no hard feelings, is just thankful for having been in it for so long, but of course you can´t see inside his heart if this is true.

Will any one from BBC read them?

It would be nice to think they would, but I often think these things are a patronising, token gesture which makes the BBC give the impression they are listening to the Licence payers.

I have just noticd a cartoon in the current edition of The Oldie

shows someone watching a TV with the words REALITY TV on screen

and the caption "And the reality is that there's nothing worth watching and you may as well switch off".

Which is probably what we should do after 29th August but we still have to pay a licence fee even though I tend to only watch stuff from my collection these days.
