How many of you are on Twitter. Some of you facebook . I am a member of the Twitter army. Would be nice to hear from some of you

Regret that I am not on Twitter, mainly because I doubt I could limit myself, ever, to a mere 140 characters and still preserve correct syntax, puntuation, spelling and style.

However I am on Facebook and there are only four people with my name there, two in Australia, one in South Africa and one in Keighley! So not hard to spot!

Hello Amos. I have a Twitter account but don't use it very often? What is the Twitter Army?

I'm glad to see you were able to get logged into the new forum.

I'm not on Twitter, either, and I have no regrets about it. You've seen my posts here — so it's probably obvious that I could never limit myself to 140 characters, either.

Sorry Amos, I'm still old school. Not jumped on the twitter or facebook , etc. bandwagons yet.

Cheers,
Rick

Hello Amos,

I am on Twitter but not Facebook but I tend to use it just to rant about things I disagree with in a Victor Meldrew style or if I can add a humorous comment but I am by no means an avid poster

Just took to Twitter for a rant at UKTV , Gold showing series 30 starting 10th of Feb and whilst I know lots of members don't like Hobbo character it is so frustrating that yet again episode 1 is missing. I am beginning to wonder it ever existed or it is one of Hobbo's Tall stories . Without it you don't get any background to Hobbo's presence , it appears as if another Beeb stalwart, Paul Daniels, has made and elephant disappear and Russ Abbot appear in its place , this continued absence is most certainly not "MAGIC" :02:

My ghast has never been so flabbered !! I have just received a reply from UKTV please see below re series 30:-

We have looked into this and found there was a historic discrepancy in the way the distributor had labelled the series, which meant we didn’t have this episode available to us. We have rectified this now.

For future airings of Last of the Summer Wine, we will be including this episode in the run but weren’t able to include it this time around unfortunately.

You may like to know we will soon be showing the complete series in order from the very beginning, starting on 16th February.

As of this moment, we can’t give you a date which we will broadcast this episode for the first time on Gold, but please do be assured we now have it and it will be included in all future airings.
