Apologies if this is mentioned elsewhere but I noticed that each of the series DVDs are just a fiver on Amazon at the moment. An absolute bargain for anyone who doesn`t have the full set.

Really torn here. I have bought the real DVDs on and off over
the years, mostly because I THOUGHT that I was "helping" the
program. But it died anyway.
More, over the long years when one could NOT just mail in and
buy SW DVDs, several of us were collecting SW DVDs from any
and all sources we could find. With no help from the beeb or
from any other commercial source, we few amassed an entire
set of LOTSW episodes on DVDs. And now, those are what I
will stay with. Many many of these discs are collections of programs
that were recorded from Maryland public TV when no commercial
company would help us. Those are the discs I will continue to watch.
In my attic is a stack of oaf-ficial SW DVDs. On my TV table is a
stack of SW DVDs I have collected from other sources.
