Barrys cars.

Barry seemed to have so many different cars during the time he was in the show. How many can you remember.

I can picture them but have no idea of make / model/numbers best guess would be enough to fill a small car showroom, sorry .

I cant even remember the name of the one Wesley used in DAS( WELLY )BOOT.

I could understand maybe a nut falling off , but a whole engine??:cautious:

He spent more time polishing and cleaning the current car than he spent driving. And when he was driving, he was being directed by either his wife and/or mother-in-law; or being shanghaied into skipping work so he could drive someone around. So it was not so much as what he was driving as why he was driving. The cars were run-of-the mill generic cars.

Hi Amos Barry had a few Ford Escort's a Ford Focus a Rover a few Cirtoen's and my hubby says in the early Barry episode's he had an Austin 1800.

Seems a bit upmarket for him, usually he had quite ordary cars - just new so he had to polish them!

I think when we fist met him he had an 1100 or similar, and elderly BMC machine. Towards the end they seem to be only a year or so old. The cynic in me wonders about product placement, but that could not be - it was the BBC!

Here is a photo of one of Barry's later cars. He seemed to love to polish them. I found the photo in one of Terry's posts to the Photo thread. I don't recognize the make & model.

Not sure of the model Dennis but the make is a Rover
