For someone who was in the show for many years, I don't recall any mention of his parents or any history about him when he was younger

She was worried that Mr.Wilkinson senior was involved in "OLIVE OIL"

He had an Uncle Ted, the loopy one who was in contact with flying saucers, and had to keep away from Blackpool. He was mentioned in two episodes.

One of which was when the Captain moved in next door. Glenda and Barry were discussing the size of the removal van and about everyone having too much stuff.

He had an Uncle Edward and an Auntie Sylvia. In Crums when Glenda and Barry were going to the car with the presents, Glenda tells Barry, "These are for me Dad, your Uncle Edward, your Auntie Sylvia, her next door, Gabriel and the milkman"
