This is a short clip of a young Bill Owen I've uploaded to YouTube. I hadn't fully realised what a successful post war career he had in film, playing great blue collar rolls to some acclaim.

Great clip of Bill/"Compo". He was quite a dashing young man in his early years wasn't he? It was mentioned in some books that Bill always was a meticulous dresser when he was off the LOTSW set.
