Compo kissing another of the trio

Just rewatched The Woolenmills Of Your Mind and noticed Compo kissing Clegg's head. He did the same to Foggy in The Frozen Turkey Man. Was ths Bill Owen improvising,or in the scripts?I suspect improvised as in TFTM the barmaid is tryng hard not to laugh

I think it was likely spontaneous. I have also seen a few smiles from background extras who perhaps weren't expecting it lol.

Not sure if it was actually spontaneous, as after compo kisses Foggy, Foggy then tries to clean the kiss off with his handkerchief, worried that he may catch something.
I'm sure this may have happened in a few episodes, so i'm more inclined to think it was possibly scripted.

Compo doing the kissing! ;D

I can only remember one time that he kissed Foggy, but feel like there was once more maybe, and i can recall three times he kissed Clegg. He also kissed Sid when he was fixing Clegg's bike. The funniest kiss is still in TFTM, when Foggy wipes his forehead and asks "has it started to swell" still cracks me up!
