Much the same as Terry's thread how about discussing hats that Compo wore during the series.
Apart from his trademark green woolly hat which other hats can you think of.

various crash helmets including his german steel helmet when couriering, the wetsuit hood, the pink ladies hat he bought for nora to name but a few, there were so many...

his holiday hat he brought in scarborough, the milkman style hat when he was the money man in the car valet scheme, the earmuff hat in "Uncle of the Bride", as gremlin says theres quite a few

The tartan Scottish berret type of hat in Spring Fever, which has one of my favourite insults from Blamire;

Blamire; Where's your ferrets?

Compo; Tha's been snoopin'. They're all right. They're in the outside lav.

Blamire; By hell, that's irresponsible. There could be an appalling accident.

Compo; They're all right. They're well wrapped up.

Blamire; And have you got them in Harry Lauder hats too?

Always laugh at that.

There were actually two green woolly hats. During the early years he wore a dark green one and later on he switched to the more familiar light green hat.

think he wore the same peaked cap in The Ice Cream Man Cometh and The Empire Foggy Nearly Built Hs too big funeral hat from Phantom Of The Graveyard was great
