D DAY

Good Day everyone. Today is a very, very, special day, D Day. I was only eight years old at the time and I have never stopped admiring the bravery of those men who were involved in the invasion. To jump into the sea and be faced by such a lot of gunfire took one heck of a lot of guts. To all those involved my deepest thanks for giving me a happy future. You will NEVER be forgotten.

I was 4 months old when D DAY happened and I wasn't allowed to read about it in the paper !

I went to Normandy with my family when I was 7. I would like to go their again because I would appreciate it more.
