Has anybody been watching Dickensian on BBC? I love the idea of bringing together iconic characters created by Charles Dickens in one Victorian London neighbourhood as Inspector Bucket investigates the murder of Ebenezer Scrooge's partner Jacob Marley. We are sometimes quick to lament the demise of quality BBC programming but this series is real quality and highly entertaining in my opinion.

I have only watched the first episode so far and I did enjoy it, I am saving the rest up to watch at a later date, yes the BBC can make some great TV, sadly it's few and far between these days

Yep never missed an episode. Shame about the gaps between episodes. Its been gripping stuff. Big episode tonight. We find out who killed Marley...
