Sorry if this has been discussed previously but if it has I must have been asleep that day!
The opening scene in A Short Introduction To Coopers Rules you see the officers pushing the drunk out of the police car and sending him on his way and he's not seen again. This is the same drunken character appears in the earlier episode The Crowcroft Challenge. The scene looks slightly out of place in the former episode, but it would nicely conclude the sub-plot from the latter episode where it appears that the drunkard got away with stealing a police car whilst drunk!
Not sure if you think the same but I'm guessing they simply used unused footage to fill out the later episode?
