The picture on the latest Summer Wine Decanted video reminded me of Babs Avery. It's really interesting that a character who appeared in 3 episodes is barely ever mentioned on this forum. I think it's fair to say her character wasn't the best and she didn't really add anything to the episodes she was in IMO.
She would undoubtedly be one of the youngest people around today who'd appeared in the show. I'm guessing she'd be in her mid 40's and would have some interesting tales to tell. She was played by Helen Turaya, but I cannot find anything about her since. Does anyone else know what happened to her? perhaps the poor casting was enough to end her nascent acting career.....
