Foggy gave Holmfirth an Idea

All bets are off with what used to be seasonal shopping , the high street is very much suffering and so will sell any product available that was once considered seasonal at any time to effectively survive :( hopefully there is an upturn soon but hard to see at the moment.

Here, across the Pond, Macy's, a famous department store, traditionally holds a parade on Thanksgiving Day in New York City. And this parade ends with the arrival of Santa Claus which signals the start of the Christmas shopping season. Well, it, actually starts on the very next day, a day commonly known as Black Friday. BUT, by then the Christmas stuff has been out for about a month or so. And speaking of Christmas all year round, there is actually a town in Alaska called North Pole and, of course, up there it never stops being Christmas.
