My concern is he needs the money and if the Boxing Board don't give him a licence ,which surely they wouldn't, he might go underground and fight on an unlicensed Bill for the cash which would be ludicrous given his age and the lack of H&S and rules in that type of fighting . You fear for him Boxing is littered with victims in the context of their health and well being look no further than Ali and of course Michael Watson after his fights with Nigel Benn and Chris Eubank and they fought in licensed fights. You have to wonder if he's just worried about getting old and wants recapture is youth some how, maybe a midlife crisis.
Yes it is disturbing Dick, and as you say I hope that he doesn't end up regretting it. As pearl says hopefully there are people close to him that can influence him enough not to go there again. Is any one like me , disturbed that Frank Bruno is planning a return to boxing?? I hope he doesn't come to regret it!:ninja:
Glad you are making progress Amos , you have clearly had a torrid time I did express my hope that this year would be a lot better for you than 2015 in a previous thread lets hope this is a small hiccup and you get some respite from your health problems.Why. Does he need to. Been a bit out of the loop trying not to die. I am on the road to recovery for those who are actually concered

We may not always say so, but I think we are always concerned when a prolific poster pauses - for whatever reason. I have picked app that your health is not brilliant and trust that throughout this year things will get better and you will feel that to be really so ....Why. Does he need to.
