FREEZERS

I was going to add this to the Sarnie thread. I have to ask if any one has noticed this phenomenon?
I have frozen veg (shop bought) and home frozen veg (by my daughters) in my freezer along with various meats and fish, I also have frozen roasties and chips along with a few frozen slices of bread (if I run out of fresh.)
My quibble is the fact that it is all wrapped /bagged and boxed if need be. Why does everything in the freezer carry the smell of frozen chips?? I clean it out regularly and do not leave bags open or lids off!! :12:
 
Hi Dick perhaps it is the smell. Of stale ice. My freezer does not have a springtime fresh smell either!!
 
Mine doesn't so it must just be yours! BUT staying on subject, how do peas escape? I double bag all freezer stuffs but still the peas escape :02:

I should have asked you then! I wonder if its cos I'm on my own and don't use a lot of food up quickly like you do with your big family. BTW I don't have a problem with peas!!:08:

Eventually he took his eye off the ball , all those years as a Batchelor his heart was captured by a small french deep green lady went by the name of "Petite" Pois , from being the hardest Pea on the block he simply went mushy , eventually he was arrested by the Pealice, Cryogenic Division spent the rest of his days " in the Can" . [I promise this is the last post about all things Pisum sativum or Pea pods ! ]

OK... I've asked a few times for a facepalm smiley to no avail PLUS I still can't add pictures to this new forum so Barmpot, your just going to have to close your eyes and imagine the HUGE facepalm in this reply.
