Glenda-Where did she work

I noticed in "That Certain Smile" that Glenda said she worked in a office,was there any other mention of Glenda working

She seemed to be employed by the ladies as the one who mostly poured the drinks and handed out the cakes/biscuits at their little coffee morning soirees so perhaps add part time waitress to that job title.

Since you mention it I do not remember her talking about working much.

I used to think she was referring to when she worked before marriage, but going back and checking it out, it sound likes she means now. I don't remember any reference other than that one.

I notice she was always at home so possibly Barry was senior enough to provide for her without recourse to gainful employment ... t I could be lying.
