Good for you Richard Briers

Is it just me, or does anyone else think that Richard Briers could have been a good addition to the Summer Wine cast?
 
I think Richard Briers would of been a great asset to the show, it could of been ideal for him also, there must be reason why these great actors do not get drawn in,maybe down to cost as the last couple of series have been made on a very tight budget,so there is lots of money left over for the executives
