Gothic / Cornishman?

Peripheral

Dedicated Member
Gothic/Cornishman, now that has caused much turmoilization in my engine room. Gothic/Cornishman is such a lot to type when addressing someone. How about we call you GC or CG? My own name, Peri, is a shortilization of a nasty complaint I have, peripheral neuropathy, which makes walking rather difficult. I am just Peri and there is no truth in the rumour that Pearl and I are one and the same person. She is far better looking than me. Everybody is far better looking than me, even Wally Batty. Just had a thought, does anyone know what Pearl really looks like? I bet she is a dazzlingly beautiful woman who wouldn't give any male member a second glance. {That's ten quid you owe me Pearl.} Now GC, do you think that there are any other double acts in the group? Could Captain Clutterbuck and Dick be the same person or are they our very own Laurel and Hardy? Whatever, they both make me laugh, in fact, you all make me laugh and worthwhile getting out of my fleapit for every morning. At this point, I am going to issue a challenge. I challenge you all to post a photo of yourself. Imagine you are in Holmfirth surrounded by lots of people, 'eventually',.... it would be nice to recognize any fellow members of this wonderful group. I often think that members must pass one another on their trips to Holmfirth. I often think of Compo's line in the episode about giant apes, "Hey up, who's this pillock?" Me?:12:

Here's me plucking up courage to serenade any whippet trainer that get's me a winner before my life goes to the dogs. We hope to pop over to wine land this summer before her furlough out grows the lawn.
