Great smiles from these two legends.

I just love Joe Gladwin's accent and delivery , not only in LOTSW but also Nearest and Dearest. He doesn't have to say anything funny , he makes me smile when he just talks .
 
I think it may be from Here We Go Again into the Wild Blue Yonder.

Probably their first glance of Compo dressed as a birdman.

John Comer and Joe Gladwin were brilliant in LOTSW. So natural and believable.

I suspect they were similar in real life to their characters in many ways.

Same goes for Gordon Wharmby. I believe he was as down to earth as the character he played.

Shame all three never had any scenes together - though they did all appear in Car and Garter.
