Hand signals

This is just an observation, do's any one gesture with their hands when they're on their mobile/cell phones. ?? It hadn't really registered with me till the other day. The number of people I see doing it is amazing. After all the person who they are talking to cannot see them ??? Is it just an unconscious thing or do they realise they are doing it :32: ???

What I have noticed Dick is that when on the mobile people walk around in circles while the are talking. They do not seem to be able to keep still.

I like it when they give directions to someone on the other end of a phone call, their hands wave about, even round and round when they describe a roundabout

I'd be happy if they gestured with both hands at the same time, dropping said phone to its demise on the concrete below . The most annoying aspect of people on their phones is them walking and texting not looking with their head down .You either have to step aside or simply let them walk into you , depending on your size you flatten them or they flatten you .

I do it, I know I'm doing it but can't stop. My granddaughter talks to her dad on the phone every night and since she was 5 she'd do a brisk walk up and down the kitchen, lord knows why, sometime we try and stand in her way but she just turns and walks the other way. I hate it when people in the street are yapping away giving everyone details of their private life or worse someones elses.

Not a problem with gesturing, but early this morning someone was walking his dog on the path behind my house with his attention firmly fixed on the book in his other hand.

I've always gestured when I talk, both face-to-face and on the phone, often using my hands to sketch the shape of the object I'm describing in the air. Once my sister grabbed both of my hands and held them still, and I was struck dumb mid-sentence.

I would have paid a small fortune for his dog to have cocked its leg and wet all over his best shoes when he was engrossed in that book .
