Holmfirth Lights

Yes, we watched them putting some up using ladders kinda over
Beattie's shop. Was a bit exciting at times. Too bad we have
no view back into where the lights are. Watched them pass a
small tree (??) up and down the ladder several times.
 
I just nipped onto the livecam and there are about a dozen people standing near the road with dogs wondered if it some sort of organised walk or are they waiting for the tour bus although I would not have thought they would allow dogs on the bus as it is quite compact .
 
Whether the dogs were going on the bus or not, there seems to be more activities that human can bring their dogs to. Over here across the Pond, humans can bring their dogs to sit in Santa's lap at a local shopping mall, and whisper their Christmas list into Santa's ear. Of course, there is a photographer nearby who charges for the cute photo.
 
Given trends in the US seem to migrate across the pond if it is not happening now then it will be soon . One hopes " Santa" is not allergic to dogs don't want him sneezing , jettisoning his beard and giving the game away . How soul destroying would it be for Percy the Pug to find the Santa Clauses in the shops aren't real.

But I know people who buy presents for their dog - not me I do not have any pets apart from a few spiders in the dungeon, of course.
