I am off to Holmfirth and surrounding area's today, there are some locations I still need to track down and get pictures of, the one I am looking forward to is the rocks at the start of "Wind Power" as the access to them seems pretty easy, I shall post any pictures later this week, Terry

Me too. It looks really nice there. I am also intending to get accross there in a couple of weeks and take some photo's, although I have not decided just where I will end up yet.

I may go to Marsden instead and get some photo's from around there.

Marsden does have the wonderful Riverhead Brewery and Tap
(now Osset's), but there ain't much else in the village proper.
Holmfirth has much more.

If you have not yet been to Marsden, walk up to the RR line,
then along the towpath out to the tunnel. If you are
lucky, the Tunnel-End pub will be open (a lot less than
once was). Up the road beyond the pub you can get to
the famed pack-horse bridge. From there you can walk
up the moorland to a small reservoir then back thru
some rather pretty farms to the back of the Tunnel-End pub.

I've made this walk. It's beautiful!!

Yes the pack horse bridge is delightful. Unfortunately you can not get the same views as in the programmes because I think you need to be on private land to do so. However it is great to know that this wonderful spot is still there.
