House update #15

We are all very tired and weary now,with just a few weeks to go before the move in deadline. More painting has been done including ceilings, the kitchen is almost complete and later this week the gas hob will be plumbed in, managed to get hot water to the sink this weekend.

The hall,landing and stairs has it's first coat of undercoat paint,floors have been scrubbed again as still plenty of dust about.

New front door has had several coats of varnish and looking very good, it will look even better once it is in place, on with the bathroom this week

Once you get the gas hob installed and the floors are done, you should feel better. Did you know that Gordon Wharmley (Wesley) was a bonny fide honest-to-goodness home remodeler? If you get stuck just ask him to drop by.

Yes he was a painter and decorator but not sure all the oily finger prints would have been helpful.

If he took what Foggy and Truly thought he was " just a big Hammer man" into his work as a Painter and Decorator would the properties he worked on be Hammer House of Horrors ?
