Welcome Amy, Compo always said that Foggy had legs like a giraffe but 6' 3" was always given as his height !

Actually Bill Owen was not that tall so Foggy always looked quite tall in comparison.

He was of course tall, but I think he had a short torso and long legs, so he walked tall and sat short. And had that languid way of walking. He always wore the same pair of shoes so his feet were probably hard to fit.
