Huddersfield Examiner: Roy Clarke knew it would be the last series..

I was at the filming last year,I think it was episode 5 called "How not to cry at Weddings"most of the day was spent in a disused pub and I kept picking up vibes, mainly talk about the last scenes involving a coach with all the cast on it and it was muted it would go off into the sunset with all aboard

Saying that I was left with the impression it was how they would like to end it, if it was going to be the end. I would of thought the recent cast outcry would of not happened if at the time of filming they Knew it was the end

There was also another moment on the night shoot, Hobbo at the end of the scene asked them to change the ending, and he found and placed a milk bottle on his doorstep,I think this was then used for the closing credits, and I heard a voice say what a fitting end

So it might be one of those mysteries we shall never find an answer to,like who finished the last of the milk off

Would not a wine bottle have been more appropriate?
