I See Barry Has a new Job

Strangely, as soon as I read that article, I imagined Uncle Seymour's pained voice saying -
"Oh DO come away Barry ! - I won't have the husband of my niece doing that kind of thing !"
Maybe I should give my four-episodes-a-day habit a rest.
 
Whilst having moved into Children's TV in recent years as a voice of Sir Robert Norramby in Thomas the Tank Engine , at 71 , despite not looking his age, he can no longer play the boyish "young Barry " roles any longer ,which have been a large part of his acting life Citizen Smith, Carry on films et al . I imagine with not that work on the horizon narrating a story for an audio novel is a good move and pays the bills.
