" IT'S FRIGHTENING.....AND HIS SCARS NOT MUCH BETTER !!!!"......the wonderful actor who plays "old Edgar" has a wonderful voice !!!....I especially like it when he says..."they are not sending me home are they ?".......and "another pair of glasses yer daft begger !!"........you can really see the pride on his face in the photo when Compo is having a look !!!....I think Roy could have used him more as a main character and he would have really fitted in...

He sort of did use him in an episode of Open All Hours as the unique Gordon Stackpole the only person to ever get his money back from Arkwright. The wonderful Teddy Turner stalwart of British Sitcom .
