For the next few months I will not have much time to visit the forum, this is due to my daughter buying a wreck of a house nearby,which is great as at the moment she live 100 mile away,so once she moves in she will be 1/4 of a mile away, but it needs a lot of TLC and I will be helping where I can, one of my main task is tracking down all that is needed to renovate the house, organise the required labour etc etc,so I could go missing from the forum for days at a time,so please be patient if you message me, I will be back
 
Sounds like you'll be carrying out the general contractor's role. That task is so complicated that I'm always glad that I can offload it onto the builder who does all my work.

Renovating/restoring/saving a house is daunting and time-consuming, but ultimately very satisfying. (Voice of experience here!) Patience and best of luck to your daughter.
 
Hope all goes well with the house Terry and your daughter will soon be moving in.

Externally does not not look too bad but no doubt plenty to go at - wiring, plumbing and so on .....


You will need a hard hat ....
