In happier reflection, I've known for a while that I happily share the same birthday as a certain Roy Clarke - just a few years apart! 
Continuing birthdays linking to Roy Clarke, Patricia Routledge aka Hyacinth Bucket (pronounced bouquet) is 94 today and still going strong....
