Irritating Commercials (Adverts)

I'm so tired of commercials about bladder control, catheters, male problems, female problems, female mesh difficulties, and all of the textbook correct graphic descriptions of each of the above problems. It's just TMI (too much information).

Its the sanitary products adverts that get me, you just know instinctively which ones were written by men.

Years ago most adverts were as entertaining as the TV shows, now adverts take up more and more airtime out of a program, not having a TV licence since January and to be honest I have not missed it,there is always catch up TV if I am desperate to see something, but when I did watch commercial TV Car adverts drove me mad, mainly because they never really told you anything about the car, some adverts showed cars moving underwater or bouncing down off a roof as if you could really do that and the car or yourself would survive.

Sadly like TV content these days a lot of stuff is aimed at the younger generation and adverts have gone the same way

9 Times out of 10 I hit the mute button for adverts. Specially ones that suggest men are useless at anything. The TRIVAGO ad where the whole family are on the train with their gadgets and it finishes with them all at the rail station at night and dad is trying to get a signal is a case in point. The Arnold Swarzenvinegar ad for the meerkats was humourous at first but after multiple showings gets boring.
I still hate the money supermarket ad!!:02:

The ADs were one of the main reasons we stopped watching TV over
the air and instead download torrents of UK TV shows without the
ADs.

Absolutely spot on. The adverts once were worth watching.

I can't watch them now. And if I don't like the advert, I certainly won't buy the product.

Won't ever be buying any more Yorkshire Tea now...

I hate that advert, I'm singing Tiffany for hours after :mad: And you can't tell me that accent is real! Not after all these years!

And what happened to Michael Douglas ??

They do it would be great if you could hire one of the cars clowns use in the circus and turn up with that . Ask how much they would give you for it but point out the few issues it has like the doors keep falling off etc .
