|I only ask because I am considering using it my electric kettle. 
Six kettles in 10 years with a life range of between 1 month to thirty six months. They all eventually leak where the plastic viewfinder is fixed to the metal container. Whether I pay £15 or £50 does not really matter - the £50 one lasted a month! >

Bring back the old Russell Hobbs with a cord! I had one like that from about 1977 well into the 1990s and only dispensed with it to be more up to date!
Perhaps I should give up on hot drinks and only have cold ones - in a glass! ;D ;D
