It's arrived!

Yes when you didn't answer the door he threw it over the fence , made your garden very picturesque.
Interestingly I was reading and article in the latest Which? magazine about delivery firms. Apparently 1/4 say they’ve abandoned shopping carts due to the courier the retailer uses. Also horror stories about packages getting left with neighbours miles away, left in puddles etc etc.shocking really :(

I suppose we have been lucky with the usual couriers, often being here on time, my biggest gripe often when I used amazon prime they fail to deliver on the day they say it will be delivered and just turn up the following day, so unless there is a prime offer on at the time of ordering, I just tick the box for 3-4 day free delivery and often it is here in 1-2 days anyway.
II see Temu is using Amazon for some of it's items, often 30% or more less than the same product on Amazon and delivered free via Amazon in a couple of days

I'm not tempted by Amazon Prime. I let items accumulate in the Saved for Later section of my basket until there's enough to qualify for free shipping. Then, if I still need them, I move them to the basket and place the order.
