One of the highlights of my year. I really can't remember missing any. My favourite last night conductor and speech-maker was Sir Andrew Davis, absolute genius.
It lifts the spirits and keeps me smiling for the other eleven months.
Long live the proms...... forever!

Sadly I was away for the weekend and I missed it . I am debating whether or not to watch on catch up because it really deserves to be watched "live" as "You lucky people" did [ as Tommy Trinder would say ] .
