Marina's little car

Does anyone know anything about Marina's little yellow car? We only see it in the episode A Sidecar Named Desire. It looks like a chopped Mini and doesn't appear to have any opening doors. Its a pity it wasn't used in more episodes....

It is no longer taxed or MOT'd but then due to age it might not have to be

I had not noticed that about the lack of doors before. Is a shame they did not have her drive the car in more episodes. I can see Glenda and Marina zooming about the hillsides in it.

Yes, a shame it was not used more! Could have had some interesting story lines. But maybe it would have made it "too easy" for Howard and Marina to get about.

I remember this Mini conversion a number of years ago, it was basically a fibre glass adaption. For safety reasons this would never be allowed on the road today. Marina & Howard could have been like Bo & Luke from Dukes of Hazzard jumping in and out of the car each episode!!!!!!

There's a purple one currently for sale on ebay if anyone's interested !!!! 6 grand though I certainly wouldn't fancy my chances in an accident in this car, particularly being hit in the rear!
