Anybody like this my hubby and some of his mates have gone to Silverstone to watch it. I know nothing about it it except that motor bikes go round and round for about an hour it does look exciting if you were sat on the back

Not really a fan it looks exciting but not for me however, hats off to those guys who ride in these races fearless or what !

Reminds me of Swindon when I used to go round and round on a motor bike - but then had to keep to 30 mph as a police car was right behind me.

The only snag was it was a 500 cc single with a close ratio gear box which gave a theoretical top speed of 140 mph and really was only ready to change up out of first when it hit 40 mph. The clutch had to be slipped all the time - until you hit the open road. Second gear was good up to 60 mph ...
