On Wednesday I arrived at Sid's Café around 11am, I was really pleased the weather had cooled, I estimate there was a total 60 to 70 people inside and outside the café, it was great to see so many fans, some from the forum others from the FB group, some where dressed as characters from the show.
Barry had promised Jonathan a ride in his Rolls Royce, so he was whisked a few miles up the road and back, sadly the traffic in Holmfirth is gridlocked while they complete works across most areas of town, it was nice that Stotts provided a small coach to give fans a tour of the local area, they made two trips in the afternoon, probably worse for the driver than doing the school run, this was done as the tour bus no longer runs
Early afternoon I compared the quiz, which I am to understand it could be our Roger that won with 16 points, if so I am sorry I did not get to chat with him.
Early evening I watched Jonathan do his Crusher in the café show after which some of us went to eat at the Bridge Hotel, where Jonathan joined us later for refreshments, a big thanks to Barry for the meal, also met up with Robin from the forum who was staying at the Bridge.
We set off to our digs at the Huntsman about 11pm, joined Barry and his wife for breakfast, Barry had to shoot off early, I think Cooper and Walsh were looking for him, I then drove down to the Holme Valley campsite to meet up with Graham and his wife, Graham had been off colour on the Wednesday and only briefly popped into town before I arrived, so it was nice to see he was feeling better on Thursday, after that I headed back to Lincolnshire
