My Little Ditty

I was asked by a friend to do a little ditty to cheer us all up during the current situation, he has asked other locals to join in, this is my contribution

I’ve been busy doing nothing
Tomorrow I’ll do some more
It’s very easy doing nowt
When you can’t go out the door
I considered doing exercise
Just to ease the pain
Instead I stared thru window
Thinking is it going to rain
I tried to knit a jumper
But found I had no wool
I tried to do a crossword
And discovered I’m a fool
I’ll carry on doing nothing
It’s easier than you think
When every days a Sunday
And the telly’s on the blink
