How many episodes can you recall, when the real name of a pub is mentioned in the show, for example in Whoops, they mention The Butchers Arms, where they all meet later in the episode, and if I recall maybe they mention The White Horse in Uncle of the Bride

I seem to recall The Shoulder of Mutton being mentioned in Getting Sam Home. Not sure if it was a real pub name though

When Howard was double booked the Fox & Duck was mentioned, again not sure if it's a real pub name

I think I am wrong [and I cannot remember the name of the pub :02: ] but I am sure the pub where the Landlady wheels Howard back from in A Hair of the Blonde that bit you does get mentioned [ this is not my finest contribution to a thread]

In Uncle of the Bride The Clarence was mentioned. I wonder if that was a pub or hotel in Holmfirth?

That I think was the Monkey Gill

Dick ,

I don't know which pub it is [sure some eagle eyed member will be able to tell me] but I don't think it was the Monkey. After all the shots Pete posted and recent episodes which featured it, the entrance to the Monkey is at the front of the pub as is the Car park just off the main road , where Tom pulls the Van into the car park is at the side of the pub and where Clegg, Truly and the Ladies wait for him turning up seems to b the main entrance and that is at the side of the pub . When they shot scenes at the Monkey they always used that main Front entrance.

Apologies all round. Have just re watched from Here to Paternity . Gill was right about the Feathers .You Captain are right about the entrance and the carpark etc. Have not watched this in a while and was relying on my memory. Sorry again to you both.:rolleyes: :08:
