So in 2 weeks I'll be embarking on my third actual OCR for this year, it's another Reaper which is a much better cause than the Scorpion, I'm going it alone this time, I usually go round with friends but they're doing an earlier wave and I can't get there until the afternoon, which is fine, I'd like to see how I get on on my own, my daughter will be doing a sweep about 2 hours after I set off so If I get lost she'll find me and my son in law is doing the wave after mine so he'll catch up with me at some point, probably about the first obstacle knowing me.
Next year I've signed up to do a virtual half marathon on May 4th, any Star Wars fans will get the connection when I say its for a Star Wars medal, because it's a virtual I can pick my own cause and time but I'm going to have to actually train for this one not just stop eating chocolate for a week , I'm going to get sponsors for this one with the money and/or stamps raised going to a little non registered charity group I help run in aid of autistic children called Autism Friendly Birthday Wishes, we collect and send out birthday cards to autistic children. So wish me luck and I'm sure I'll survive long enough to show you the medal.
Here's look at the May 4th medal. ( I did one in May this year called Revenge of the Sith, guess what day I did that!)
