Is everyone ready to go next week?

Have you checked out the new forum yet?

I don't think Terry renovating a house and the forum move are a coincidence. I think he's gotten a house ready and this weekend he and Tony are going to come round in the night, snatch us from our beds and move us all in together, that way he can keep tabs on us better and make sure we stay on topic and behave ourselves.

I'm sure he's mentioned a day room, we'll be sitting in our chairs all day watching SW and discussing the episode we've just watched. I'm not saying I mind but I'm not doing all the cooking!

I'm experimenting with a slow cooker today. I don't think it will serve us all!!:39:

Desperate times call for desperate measures so in this crisis the catering will now be provided by Wesley's mobile Hot Dog and Beverage machines and in true tradition the ladies will provide dessert in the form of a selection of cakes however , there is to be no bun fight over the best one! :)

I'll make sure I'm wearing me winsett thermals and clutching me bun maker when you come for me and if one of you can grab me handbag on your way out that'd be champion.
 
If your are talking about the move to the new forum. I,m afraid that I am unsure that I will be coming. Ill health and other problems are a major stumbling block. Hoping to join but I doubt it.

Terry and Tony have packed us all, we're going over with kettle and sticky buns on Monday.

I think a lot of the discussion around the move was posted when I was "off on the sick" for a fortnight [and yes Pearl I did have a Doctor's note before you ask ] now I have discarded the "unclean" hand bell and fit again can I just confirm there is no change to the site's URL to access by . If it is to change and to save me trawling through the threads could I please ask you to publish it here. Thank you in advance for any help .
 
I am a bit stressed today as I have been teaching some student nurses. So I'm all for moving into our Summer Wine house. I`ll be on hand to put a plaster on if anyone cut`s themselve`s!! i don`t mind doing the dusting and hoovering. I would volunteer to do the cooking but I want everyone to stay well. I hope the men won`r mind if I bring my black nightie!!

I guess everyone has to learn but I dread to think where you have had to retrieve thermometers from today . If they work on real patients then I imagine your stress /anxiety levels could pale into insignificance compared to those of the patients' ! I am happy to undertake the cooking and offer an alternative to Hot Dog machine ,especially as I now know there will be a medical presence onsite ,with both Pete and yourself, at the Summer Wine House. :)

Hi Pearl. You had better bring your rug beater, I'll bring mine as well as you know how untidy the men will be in our lovely Summer Wine house.

I assume the gentlemen's very presence will render the Summer Wine House untidy , this will of course be tempered by the fact there is every possibility that we will be partaking in what I believe they call a "pub crawl" around the local hostelries and as a direct result our presence and therefore the level of untidiness will be greatly reduced . May I suggest you leave the rug and bring the egg beater in it's place , nothing is as good for a night out as bacon and scrambled eggs the next day. I assume you have been saving up back issues of all of the newspapers I fully expect to be subjected to the Edie treatment in a bid to save the carpets getting dirty. :)
 
I am not making you breakfast! I will expect the men to give us ladie's breakfast in bed, and a nice cup of tea
