Pancake Day.

Old but Gold an Englishman, Scotsman and Irishman are discussing their sons names . The Englishman said he named his son George after the patron saint , the Scotsman said he did the same and called his son Andrew. The Irishman then piped up " I was only telling Pancake the other day ................."
 
In Barbara Pym's novel A Glass of Blessings, the hostess serves pancakes for dinner on Pancake Day and remarks that they should be thin enough to read a love letter through one of them.

Dad's turned lightweight and can only eat 2 now but I've stuck it out and had 5. :confused:
