For those in the UK (and those overseas with a clever enough VPN!) will be pleased to learn that on 3rd Sep BBC4 will be running an evening devoted to Patricia. She will be giving rare interviews along with an episode of her many productions. However the first on the billing is an interview about KUA followed by the episode Driving Mrs Fortescue

This was a superb evening of none riparian entertainment in which Dame Patricia was rightly venerated. Her performances were as rich and varied as her reminisces. She is truly one of a kind and we are richer for having enjoyed her work.

Agree as ever! She's an outstanding straight actor, she's an amazing singer who's sung on Broadway, she's an amazing comedian and clown too. She's from Birkenhead I believe can you not rope her into doing something in your Am Dram productions !!?? ;)

We've both performed at the Carlton theatre there so could be in with a chance. ;) If we ressurect Blithe Spirit she can do Madam Arcati in a similar fashion to her Steptoe performance!

Patricia would be brilliant as Madame Arcati! That said she'd pretty much be brilliant at any role she played. Really hope you manage to get your production of the ground, hopefully we could get a few forum members attending next time around :)
