Peter Baldwin who played " Old Heptenstall " in "Goodnight Sweet Ferret" has died aged 82. :'(
 
So sad to hear the news. I enjoyed him in Coronation Street as well. He was great with Thelma Barlow.
 
Wasn't he forced out of Coronation Street - he provided much comedy, had to drive that company car with the big illuminated paper clip on the top.

Just seen the item about Maureen O'Hara so brilliant in the Quiet Man one of my favourite films ever . I was reading about her a few months back and she had to sell her property in Ireland because she was not well enough to travel there from the US and I think it broke her heart.
