Poor Holmfirth

After almost a year of roadworks, which are almost coming to an end, due to a major power outage effecting many of the town premises, they are now digging up Woodhead road around the Greenfield road area, which the electric company claim will have to close for a short period permanently at some point, to do a proper fix to the temporary repair.
In the meantime here is a town centre winter picture to make up for it

I've driven through a couple of times this year and it's worse than Piccadilly Circus much of the time. Can't imagine it's doing the shop keepers much good either....

Your so right Barry, all around the centre has been a nightmare for at least a year, and now this happens, not good for the local or the tourist
