From the Golden shot to The Chase there has been so many good game/quiz shows over the years.Which are your favourite ones and can you name some long forgotton ones.Some of my favourites

Blockbusters
Generation Game(with brucie or larry Grayson)
A question of sport
Bullseye
Mastermind

I do not know if anyone else watches Pointless with Alexander Armstrong but i like that as well
 
Strangely enough my schooldays were long gone but I loved UNI CHALLENGE.(cos I could answer a fair few! ;))

Not a bad selection there Amos all were good shows, although I don't like a Question of Sport with Sue Barker she gets on my nerves (the David Colman days were the best).

I quite liked the show Wipeout as well with either Paul Daniels or Bob Monkhouse.

Pointless isn't a bad TV quiz show for a modern day example, it is certainly better than the so called rehashes like Family Fortunes.
